Smart City Industrial Laboratory is located at Universitiy Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). Established in 2017, Smart City Industrial Lab is the first Industrial Laboratory in Malaysia which involve the student, industrial players and the lecturers in technology and expertise exchanges. The purpose of the Smart City Industrial Laboratory is to allow the exchanging ideas and expertise amongst the industry, academicians and the students. The concept of Smart City Industrial Laboratory is shown on how the industry able to redistribute value to the community. The establishment of Smart City Industrial Laboratory is a strategic move to assist talent development of the student currently studying at university in Sarawak. Through the unique blend of curricular, experiential, and research modules, Smart City Industrial Laboratory prepares the student to be equipped not only with the knowledge, but with the relevant skills for their future employment in the industry.
